Book Blogger Confessions Tag!

Updated: Oct 7, 2020

Hello fellow book lovers! I am so sorry I haven't posted a new blog in quite some time. This quarantine has me in a different head-space, and I can't seem to focus!

Anyway, I found this fun tag on The Book Nut's Blog about, as the title implies, confessions about different books that you've read.

1. Which book, most recently, did you not finish? Oh gosh, I've been in a reading slump lately, so a lot! But one that I will not be going back to is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

2. Which book is your guilty pleasure? A book that I always go back to is The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot. Even though I already know what happens, and it's so predictable, I always fall in love with the characters and laugh out loud.

3. Which book do you love to hate? Cursed Child. OH MY GOD. I love to hate on this. And yes I know it was a screen play. But it still counts.

4. Which book would you throw into the sea?

One of the very first books that I downloaded on my Kindle was Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. I just kept clicking the buttons on the side in a hateful manner, pushing through because it just HAD to get better, right??? Nope, not for me. Sorry.

5. Which book have you read the most? Harry Potter. Sorcerer's Stone and Half-Blood Prince are my favorites, so I've probably read those the most!

6. Which book would you hate to receive as a present? Honestly? I would love to receive any book as a present. It's just a fun present, and if I already own it or I'm not interested in it, I'm sure I can find someone who would be.

7.  Which book could you not live without? Okay so it's obviously Harry Potter because those books kind of made me the person I am today and made my love of reading that much better. Honestly nothing else has measured up to those standards for me.

8. Which book made you the angriest?  Most recently, I'd have to say Wildfell by London Clarke. I hate-read this book really quickly a couple of months ago because again, it just HAD to get better, right?? But I kept putting the book down and screaming in frustration at the main character.

9. Which book(s) made you cry the most? Ooh, quite a few here. Willow by Julia Hoban. A lot of Colleen Hoover books. Deathly Hallows (RIP).

10. Which book cover do you hate the most? I hate to say this because I love these books and I love this author ... but ... The Shades of London books by Maureen Johnson. (Great story though!)

Okay so the original post says to tag 5 other bloggers to do this after you, but I don't know any book bloggers! So, if you happen to read this and you are one, please let me know, and feel free to do this tag!

Promise to write more. Promise.
